As a serial business owner with six businesses started, four failures, and two growing successes, I’ve learned the ins-and-outs of business finance over the last decade—and not always the easy way!
I became passionate about financial literacy for creative agency and firm owners after seeing the same stress and shame in the hundreds of business owners I’ve spoken with and work with since I took a left turn into the accounting world in 2018.

First venture into business ownership way back in 2009 was a prepared meal delivery service before they were popular (I loved playing around in the kitchen when I was a kid)
Currently learning Brazilian Portuguese (and working towards spending several months per year there!)
Recently returned to and am loving exploring my hometown of Calgary, Canada
